About the event

Columbia Business School's Africa Business Club is excited to announce the 18th Africa Economic Forum, a student-led collaboration with the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. Africa Today & Tomorrow: Accelerating the Growth of an Economic and Cultural Powerhouse is the theme that delegates and speakers will explore as we assess the role we will all play in fulfilling Africa's promise.

AEF provides a forum for meaningful engagement for industry leaders and MBAs from leading schools to engage thoughtfully.

This will be the first in-person AEF conference in three years and  will be made all the more special thanks to our state-of-the-art facilities at our brand new Manhattanville Campus. You will hear from an impressive lineup of speakers such as Edward Effah, Jeffrey Sachs and Ralph Mupita alongside others from the continent. We expect participants to leave with a renewed sense of hope in Africa’s success and be inspired to do their part in moving the continent forward.
